Al and Elizabeth Russom, co-owners of A.M. Leather have been in business for 27 years.
Our new store which opened in May 2017 is located in Romulus at the corner of Sibley and Middlebelt in Southeast Michigan.
The “AM” in AM Leather stands for AMERICAN MADE.
Al and his son, Mark, first started selling leather on the weekends at the Gibraltar Trade Center. Later moved to a few different locations on Eureka Road as the business grew.
Our new building on Middlebelt has plenty of space to showcase our expanding list of merchandise, a dedicated room for our embroidery machines, leather sewing machines and plenty of tools for repairs.
AM Leather embroiders logos and custom patches and sells leather clothing, boots, motorcycle gear, and more to about 170 motorcycle clubs and other organizations throughout Michigan.
Although the shop is owned by bikers, caters to bikers and are very well-known among the biker community, we have leather products and embroidery services available for the non-biker consumer as well.
Al and Beth are generous supporters of the Penrickton Center for Blind Children and help sponsor fundraising rides and events for various charities and organizations in Michigan.
AM Leather is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
